LIGHTS, CAMERA, SWING — FILMING A DOCUMENTARY IN SAN FRANCISCO

A musical journey captured on film at the Painted Ladies

The magic of San Francisco at golden hour set the perfect stage for our new documentary. Filming at the iconic Painted Ladies in Alamo Square, we captured the essence of my musical journey surrounded by family, friends, and the most incredible musicians.

What an absolute thrill it has been to film this documentary about my life and music! The energy of San Francisco is unmatched, and having my wonderful family with me made it all the more special. My daughter Idun, daughter Nanna, son Viggo, and Johan were all part of this beautiful project, bringing their own light to the screen.

Of course, a documentary about my musical journey wouldn’t be complete without the brilliant musicians who bring the swing to life. A massive thank you to Neil Fontano, Luke Kirley, and Lakshmi Ramirez for their incredible talent and spirit during the filming.

But the excitement doesn’t stop when the cameras stop rolling! We are bringing the music live to the Bay Area this very weekend. Join us on Saturday, March 21st at the lovely Nonni’s Bistro in Pleasanton for an intimate evening of jazz. Then, on Sunday, March 22nd, we return to the legendary Biscuits & Blues in San Francisco for a night you won’t want to miss!

I cannot wait to share this documentary with all of you, but until then, let’s make some memories together on the bandstand this weekend.
